Diario de León hosts exhibition marking 120 years of history
The Diario de León newspaper has launched an exhibition titled ‘120 años a toda prensa’ to commemorate its 120th anniversary. The exhibition is currently hosted in the lobby of the Junta de Castilla y León territorial delegation in León and will remain open to the public until October 30.
The display is organized into six modules, each covering a 20-year period from 1906 to the present. Through historical photographs and texts, the exhibition illustrates the human and geographical evolution of the León province. The event was inaugurated by the territorial delegate, Eduardo Diego, alongside the newspaper's director, Joaquín S. Torné.
This exhibition is part of an itinerant series that has already been hosted in La Bañeza, Astorga, and Ponferrada, attracting over 10,000 visitors. The project is supported by collaborators including the Fundación Caja Rural and various local city councils.
