Diarra From Detroit season 2 explores mystery and Detroit crime

The second season of the Paramount+ series ‘Diarra From Detroit’ continues to follow Diarra Brickland as she navigates a complex mix of mystery, comedy, and personal drama set in Detroit.

In the new season, the narrative expands from a furniture-recovery mission into a larger investigation involving a triple homicide, gang warfare, and a search to exonerate Chris from being the ‘Coney Killer’. Plot elements include a citywide treasure hunt, secret societies, and urban legends.

Created by, written by, and starring Diarra Kilpatrick, the eight-episode season features an ensemble cast including Phylicia Rashad and Harry Lennix, with guest appearances by Method Man and Morris Chestnut. New episodes are released weekly on Wednesdays.
