Diarra Kilpatrick Celebrates Multi‑Role Success with BET+ Series

Actress and creator Diarra Kilpatrick walked the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of “Paw Patrol: Dino Movie.” In an interview she linked the franchise’s motto “no job is too big, no pup is too small” to her own career, noting she is currently creating, executive‑producing and starring in the BET+ series “Diarra From Detroit.”

The show, described as a blend of comedy and thriller, aims to portray the fullness of Black womanhood. Kilpatrick said, “It’s my privilege and pleasure… to reflect and reveal more about who and what we are.” Her comments highlight ongoing efforts to expand representation for Black women in the entertainment industry.
