Dibra opens new public parking spaces

A portion of new public parking spaces in Dibra, located near the Culture Center and the ‘Dibra’ sports hall, has been opened to the public. Authorities stated that work is progressing rapidly, with the goal of making all 300 parking spots available soon to improve conditions for citizens and visitors.

The Dibra Municipality, which is the investor in the project, noted that the new parking area near the city center helps alleviate long-standing parking shortages. This issue is particularly acute during the summer months when many emigrants return to their hometown.

The total value of the project is 16,215,470 denars. The location is strategically situated near commercial buildings, the Department of Internal Affairs, and civil status offices. Currently, the courtyard and sports field of the ‘Penestia’ Municipal Primary School are also being used as parking space.
