Dickinson volleyball defeats York College in four sets

The Dickinson College women's volleyball team defeated York College of Pennsylvania 3-1 in a non-conference season opener at Wolf Gymnasium.

Dickinson secured the first set 27-25 after overcoming a deficit late in the frame. York responded by winning the second set 25-21. Dickinson reclaimed momentum in the third set, winning 25-20, before closing out the match with a 25-21 victory in the fourth set.

Individual performances included Mallie Thomas leading all players with 14 kills and Jessica Currie contributing 13 kills for Dickinson. Lora Flynn recorded 21 assists for the Red Devils. For York, Saniya Esters tallied 13 kills, while Sami Baer recorded a match-high 32 digs. Liz Kerin led York with four blocks.
