Dicle District Governor Mustafa Atış conducts field visits and fire response

Mustafa Atış, the District Governor of Dicle in Diyarbakır, has marked one year in office by conducting extensive field visits to both rural and urban areas. Accompanied by local security officials, Atış has met with residents in the Bahçedere neighborhood and visited local merchants and marketplaces in the district center to discuss regional development and local needs.

Atış highlighted recent infrastructure investments in the district, including a new 60-bed Dicle State Hospital, a youth camp with dam views, and a new government house. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the state and the public to secure further investments.

In addition to administrative duties, Atış has been coordinating response efforts for a brush and forest fire occurring between the Başköy neighborhood of Dicle and the Kuyular neighborhood of the Hani district. Due to difficult terrain and weather conditions, firefighting helicopters were deployed to prevent the fire from spreading to a larger area.
