Dr. Aynur Sevinç, an academic at Silvan Vocational School of Dicle University, has developed a research project utilizing artificial intelligence for the early detection and classification of brain tumors.
The study, titled “Early Diagnosis and Classification of Brain Tumors via Deep Learning Approaches Using Magnetic Resonance Images,” employs deep learning and image processing technologies to analyze MRI scans. The objective is to identify tumors at an early stage and classify different tumor types to provide technological support for physicians during their decision-making processes.
Additionally, Silvan Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Orhan Arpa reported that the school's Electricity and Energy Department has been accredited by MEDEK for the 2024–2026 period.
