Die große Maus-Show celebrates 20th anniversary and host changes

The ARD television program ‘Die große Maus-Show’ celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special broadcast. The milestone episode featured host Esther Sedlaczek, who has moderated the show since 2023, and welcomed former participants who have since become successful adults, such as pianist Laetitia Hahn and diver Jaden Eikermann.

During the celebration, actress Annette Frier announced her departure from the show, stepping down from her role as team captain. Frier cited having ‘taken a bit too much on her plate’ in the past year as the reason for her exit. She teased that a young and attractive colleague would succeed her.

The anniversary episode included various guests, such as Axel Prahl, Beatrice Egli, and Wincent Weiss, and featured the show’s signature scientific experiments and quiz formats.
