Die Linke convenes local meetings in Hörde and Borken as election preparations continue

The Bezirksgruppe Hörde of Die Linke met on 6 August 2026 at the AWO centre in Hörde‑Süd to discuss measures against rising summer heat and to plan the children’s festival scheduled for 15 August at Clarenberg. The gathering was open to interested citizens, with refreshments offered at cost.

On 31 July 2026 the newly elected board of the Kreisverband Borken of Die Linke held its constituting session in Ahaus. The eight‑member board, led by spokesperson Tim Lichte and spokesperson Jessica Ahle, outlined its first priority as preparing for the upcoming state (Landtag) election, aiming to clarify the party’s policy focus and expand its presence across the district.

Both events reflect Die Linke’s local organisational activity in North‑West Germany ahead of the state election campaign.
