Die Rosenheim-Cops announces cast changes for 26th season

The long-running ZDF crime series 'Die Rosenheim-Cops' is undergoing significant cast changes ahead of its 26th season, which is scheduled to premiere on October 6. A major departure includes Marisa Burger, who played Miriam Stockl; her role in the police secretariat will be taken over by Sarah Thonig, playing Christin Lange.

New additions to the cast include Maya Haddad, who will portray Yasmin Rabe, a character managing a new daily bar in Rosenheim starting in December. The upcoming season will feature 24 new episodes covering diverse themes such as artificial intelligence, tiny houses, and urology congresses.

Actor Steffen Wolf, who plays the caretaker Hannes Winkler, confirmed his return for the new season. Wolf attributed the series' long-term success to its ability to blend exaggerated, larger-than-life characters with relatable human flaws and a lighthearted tone.
