Diego Carlos joins Parma on loan from Fenerbahçe

Brazilian defender Diego Carlos has joined Parma on loan from Fenerbahçe. The move occurred in the final hours of the transfer window and does not include an option to buy.

The 33-year-old, a former FC Nantes, Sevilla, and Aston Villa player, arrives in Parma to provide veteran leadership to their young squad. Carlos spent the previous season on loan at Como, where he made 31 Serie A appearances. While Como attempted to secure a permanent transfer for the defender, they were unable to finalize the deal before the market closed, allowing Parma to secure the loan.

Carlos previously faced challenges at Fenerbahçe due to injuries and limited playing time before his successful stint in Italy with Como.
