Diego Della Valle announces new plant openings in Arquata

Diego Della Valle, the owner of Tod’s, has announced plans to open at least one or two additional manufacturing facilities in Arquata del Tronto. This commitment follows an appeal for reconstruction made by Cardinal Matteo Zuppi during a mass commemorating the tenth anniversary of the earthquake in Pescara del Tronto.

Della Valle previously invested approximately 10 million euros to establish a 2,000-square-meter facility in the area, which was inaugurated in December 2017. The original plant currently employs around one hundred people. The entrepreneur’s decision to expand aims to support the long-term economic recovery of the earthquake-stricken region.
