Diego Dominguez inducted into World Rugby Hall of Fame

Diego Dominguez has been inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame. The former Italian national team fly-half is the second Italian player to receive this honor, following Sergio Parisse.

Born in Argentina, Dominguez represented Argentina twice in 1989 before switching to Italy due to his maternal lineage. Over a career spanning 74 caps for Italy between 1991 and 2003, he was noted for his scoring prowess, including a standout performance in the 2000 Six Nations where he scored 29 of Italy's 34 points against Scotland.

Domínguez finished his international career with 1,010 points, ranking him among the top scorers in rugby history. His club career included seven seasons with Amatori Milano and seven seasons with Stade Français.
