Diego Klein recounts deportation from Germany due to visa error

Mexican actor Diego Klein has shared details regarding his deportation from Germany during his early career. In an interview with Yordi Rosado, Klein explained that the incident occurred due to an administrative oversight involving his visa.

While studying acting in Spain, Klein traveled to Germany but exceeded his permitted stay by only 72 hours because he had failed to renew his visa. He initially believed the error would only result in a fine, but German authorities proceeded with his immediate expulsion. Klein recounted the traumatic experience of being handcuffed by police and escorted onto a flight back to Mexico.

The incident resulted in a ban from entering both Germany and Spain, impacting his professional aspirations in Europe at the time. Reflecting on the event, Klein expressed empathy for migrants, noting that while his experience was a result of his own irresponsibility, it gave him a sense of the vulnerability and fear faced by those navigating migration systems.
