Diego Leuco demands apologies over false reports on La Peña de Morfi

Argentine television host Diego Leuco has demanded public apologies from Florencia de la V and her team following the broadcast of false information regarding the future of the program ‘La Peña de Morfi’.

The controversy began on the program ‘Los Profesionales con Flor’ (El Nueve), where journalist Damián Rojo claimed that ‘La Peña de Morfi’ would cease transmissions at the end of November. This claim went viral, causing significant distress among the show's 50 producers who feared for their job security.

Speaking on Luzu TV, Leuco criticized the lack of responsibility in the media, stating, “I have to come out and defend a work team whose weekend was ruined by a lie.” He also accused de la V of a double standard, noting that she previously reacted negatively when she learned about changes to her own program, ‘Intrusos’, through media reports rather than direct communication.
