Diego López assists Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid

Diego López, the former Real Madrid goalkeeper and current goalkeeper coach for the Castilla reserve team, stepped in to lead Thibaut Courtois’s warm-up ahead of the match against Sevilla.

This temporary assignment follows a one-match suspension for first-team goalkeeper coach Nuno Santos, who was sent off during a previous match against Villarreal. López, who has built a strong reputation working with youth keepers under Julián López de Lerma, returned to the first-team setup for the night at the Santiago Bernabéu.
