Diego Machado to lead newcom clinic in San Juan

Renowned trainer Diego Machado will visit San Juan to lead an intensive newcom clinic on September 25 and 26. The initiative aims to professionalize the discipline following its rapid growth among local athletes.

The training sessions will include theoretical components at the Salón de Usos Múltiples and practical workshops at the Ambrosini stadium. The program is open to coaches, students, and seniors interested in the sport, which emphasizes strategy and physical resistance over high-impact movements.

The growing popularity of newcom is evidenced by the Los Taguas team at the Universidad Nacional de San Juan, which has expanded from 12 participants to 150 members.
