Lega Desio organizes public meeting on Asse della Cultura project

The Lega Desio political group has organized a public meeting to discuss the ‘Asse della Cultura’ project, an urban redevelopment initiative promoted by the local center-left administration to redesign a significant portion of Desio’s historic center.

Scheduled for Sunday, October 18, in Piazza Conciliazione, the event aims to gather citizen feedback and address concerns regarding the project. While the party stated it is not opposed to urban renewal in principle, it expressed specific reservations concerning the intervention’s costs, the reduction of available parking, and the potential impact on local commercial activities.

Lega representatives emphasized that decisions involving public resources and symbolic locations like Piazza Conciliazione must be carefully evaluated and shared with the community through concrete opportunities for dialogue and information.
