Diego Moreira transfer to AC Milan confirmed for €51 million base fee

AC Milan has finalized the transfer of Diego Moreira from RC Strasbourg for a base fee of €51,282,051, making him the second most expensive signing in the club's history. The deal, signed by CEO Massimo Calvelli and owner Gerry Cardinale, includes various performance-based bonuses that could increase the total value to nearly €70 million.

Specific bonuses include payments for goals and assists, starting appearances, contract extensions, and team achievements such as qualifying for the Champions League, Europa League, or winning Serie A. Additionally, the agreement includes a sell-on clause: if Moreira is sold for more than €100 million, RC Strasbourg will receive 25% of the amount exceeding that threshold.
