Diego Rossi collides with assistant referee during Monterrey match

During a Liga MX match between Monterrey and Guadalajara, Monterrey forward Diego Rossi collided with assistant referee Enrique Martínez Sandoval while attempting to take a corner kick in the 44th minute.

Rossi, an Uruguayan striker, lost his balance and fell to the turf after striking the official. Following the incident, Rossi protested against the assistant referee, claiming he had not been provided sufficient space to execute the corner kick.

Guadalajara won the match 1-0, with a goal scored by Roberto Alvarado in the 9th minute. Although Rossi scored an equalizer during stoppage time, the goal was disallowed due to a handball.
