Diego the dog returns to shelter after failed foster attempt

Diego, a dog known for his loyalty after following his owner's ambulance to a hospital, has been returned to the Nocera Inferiore kennel after a failed attempt at a new home.

After gaining public attention in Italy, Diego was placed in a temporary foster home with a couple in Rome. Despite an emotional departure from the kennel, the arrangement lasted only seven days. The dog was eventually found alone near a railway station without a collar or tag, leading to his return to the shelter where staff are once again seeking a stable family for him.
