Dien Bien Province launches cashless payment market to boost digital economy

Dien Bien Province has launched a cashless payment market to promote digital transformation and e-commerce in the Northwest region. Held from September 17 to 19, 2026, the event features 30 stalls showcasing local agricultural products, OCOP items, and regional specialties.

In a push to modernize local commerce, 100% of the participating stalls are equipped with QR codes and digital payment platforms. The initiative aims to help local businesses, cooperatives, and households improve their digital capabilities and integrate electronic payments and online sales into their operations.
