Dieptetuin volunteers maintain historic Zeist garden

The Dieptetuin in Zeist, a garden with nearly 120 years of history, continues to rely heavily on volunteer efforts for its upkeep. Following municipal budget cuts in 2012 that prioritized roadside parks, the ‘Stichting Vrienden van de Dieptetuin’ was established to ensure the garden's preservation.

Beyond maintenance, volunteers facilitate various community activities, including weddings, concerts, and winter events. The foundation maintains a formal management plan in cooperation with the municipality to coordinate these ongoing efforts.
