Dierre Basketball appoints Dario Lo Storto as new head coach

Dierre Basketball Reggio Calabria has begun its preseason preparations under new head coach Dario Lo Storto. Lo Storto brings over 17 years of experience in elite Italian basketball, having worked extensively with youth sectors and senior teams.

His professional background includes roles at Olimpia Milano as a tactical scout for the first team in Serie A and EuroLeague, as well as positions with various clubs in the Lombardy region. He was notably named the FIP ‘Coach of the Year’ and won the 2026 Italian Under 19 Gold Championship.

During the initial training sessions in Reggio Calabria, Lo Storto noted the positive attitude of the players and the high-performance culture he intends to implement for the upcoming season.
