Diesel Kino Oberwart launches new premium cinema hall

Diesel Kino Oberwart in Austria opened a new premium cinema hall, designated Hall 6, offering a next‑generation movie experience. The 94‑seat hall features ultra‑wide premium seats, four electrically adjustable premium loges, laser projection and a Dolby Atmos 3‑D sound system, delivering sharp images, vivid colours and immersive audio.

The opening marks the first completed phase of a six‑million‑euro renovation programme that will continue through November 2026, with the foyer, buffet and existing auditoria also being upgraded. Wolfgang Brandner, marketing manager and spokesperson for Diesel Kino, said the new hall “sets the first visible milestone of our comprehensive modernisation project” and reflects the company’s commitment to high‑tech comfort and community cinema.

The project is the largest modernisation effort in the company’s history and aims to keep the Oberwart location a leading venue for communal film experiences.
