Various local community and school events in Germany

A series of local events and educational initiatives are taking place across various German regions.

In Schweinfurt, the Leopoldina Hospital and Gesundheitspark Schweinfurt are hosting an open house titled ‘Medicine to Touch,’ featuring demonstrations of the DaVinci surgical system, radiology tours, and medical workshops.

Educational institutions are also active: the Burggymnasium reported successes in the 23rd OVAG Youth Literature Prize. In Bruchköbel, student representatives from Lichtenberg-Oberstufengymnasium met with Mayor Sylvia Braun to discuss municipal politics and climate protection.

Other notable activities include a tick prevention workshop at Gymnasium Lindenberg as part of the Bavarian Prevention Day, and a ‘November Emergency Station’ organized by school social workers to support student well-being. Additionally, the Diesterweg-Gymnasium and Dittes-Oberschule are hosting a joint open house and career fair, while the Landfermann-Gymnasium in Duisburg has announced its upcoming open house event.
