Ruben Onsu named suspect in investment fraud case

Ruben Onsu has been named a suspect by the South Jakarta Metro Police in a case involving alleged investment fraud and embezzlement. The legal status change from reported to suspect followed a case review by investigators regarding a business cooperation where a complainant reportedly did not receive promised returns and has not had their capital refunded.

Onsu’s legal counsel, Machi Ahmad, stated that Onsu is cooperating with the legal process and intends to take responsibility for the matter. The defense has attempted mediation and has reportedly returned 100 million IDR to the complainant. Onsu has also issued a public apology via social media regarding the public commotion caused by the case.
