Dietary habits linked to fatal stroke in 45-year-old man

A 45-year-old man in Henan, China, passed away four days after collapsing during a meal due to a severe stroke. Medical examinations revealed significant cerebral artery atherosclerosis, widespread narrowing of the blood vessels, and acute thrombosis.

Physicians at Hunan Provincial General Hospital noted that the patient frequently experienced dizziness and chest pain after meals but ignored these warning signs. His diet consistently included two specific types of food: pickled items and fried foods. Dr. Zeng Furen stated that the long-term combination of these dietary habits contributed to premature aging, brittleness, and narrowing of the vascular system.
