Dieter-Thomas Kuhn announces final retirement and farewell tour
German Schlager singer Dieter-Thomas Kuhn has announced his final retirement from the stage after a 35-year career. Known for his distinctive stage persona involving glitter, sunflowers, and a signature chest hair toupee, Kuhn stated that this departure is intended to be permanent.
The farewell will be marked by a documentary film and a series of three final concerts scheduled for 2027. The tour will include a performance at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart on July 24, 2027, followed by two concluding shows at the Waldbühne in Berlin on August 6 and 7, 2027.
