DIF Benito Juárez launches ocular prosthetics medical program

The DIF Benito Juárez has announced the ‘Ocular Prosthetics Medical Program 2026’, scheduled for October 14 at the institution’s facilities in Supermanzana 94. The initiative aims to support individuals with missing or lost eyeballs due to congenital causes, disease, infection, or accidents, as well as those with maxillofacial defects.

Medical evaluations will be conducted starting at 8:00 AM at the Ocular Prosthetics Clinic located in the ‘Salón de la Familia’. Specialists from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) Faculty of Dentistry and the Autonomous University of Campeche will lead the assessments to identify candidates for ocular or maxillofacial prostheses.
