DIF Coahuila establishes inter-institutional group for care policies
DIF Coahuila has officially established the Inter-institutional Group on Care Matters to coordinate, quantify, and visualize government actions aimed at the wellbeing of families in the state. The initiative seeks to strengthen co-responsibility between public institutions, society, and the private sector.
Liliana Salinas Valdés, honorary president of DIF Coahuila, emphasized the need to digitalize and measure care responsibilities to respond more effectively to population needs. The existing care system includes community centers, day stays for older adults, early childhood care centers, nurseries, and women's health campaigns.
The installation event included representatives from the State Congress, the Secretary of Women, municipal authorities, and academic institutions such as the Autonomous University of Coahuila.
