DIF programs provide social support across various Mexican regions
Various municipal and state DIF (System for Integral Family Development) agencies in Mexico are implementing social welfare programs. In Yucatán, the 'Agenda Rosa' initiative provided 12 breast prostheses and follow-up kits to women in Progreso to aid recovery from breast cancer.
In Querétaro, mobile dining units have delivered over 646,000 food rations to 41,600 residents in marginalized communities. Similarly, in Chihuahua, an investment of approximately 355,000 pesos was used to equip school and community kitchens in Parral, Batopilas, and Guachochi to support 243 people daily.
In Escobedo, the government distributed 36 oncological kits, including external prostheses and specialized bras, to women through the 'Casa en Rosa' program. Additionally, a municipal DIF has opened a call for 2027 childcare scholarships, offering 650 pesos monthly per child to families with monthly incomes below 15,000 pesos.
