DIF Saltillo's Amor en Movimiento mobile health unit serves rural ejidos

The DIF Saltillo mobile health program "Amor en Movimiento" visited the Las Hormigas and Chapula ejidos in the Saltillo area of Coahuila, providing free health services to more than 100 residents of all ages. Services included distribution of hearing aids, eye examinations with future delivery of prescription glasses, dental procedures, general medical consultations, and the provision of glucometers and blood pressure monitors.

The initiative is led by honorary president Luly López Naranjo of DIF Saltillo, with support from Mayor Javier Díaz González and the Rural Development Directorate headed by Diego Fuentes Aguirre. The program plans to continue reaching additional rural communities throughout the Saltillo municipality.
