DIF Tamaulipas resumes community service brigades in Jiménez

The DIF Tamaulipas system has resumed its ‘Transformando Familias’ brigades, providing comprehensive services and benefits directly to communities in the state. A recent session was held in the municipality of Jiménez.

For the first time, personnel from the Teletón Integral Rehabilitation and Child Inclusion Center (CRIT Tamaulipas) participated in the brigade. This collaboration provided specialized services, including medical consultations, rehabilitation, psychology, nutrition, pediatrics, and pediatric dentistry, as well as the delivery of functional devices.

Additional benefits provided during the event included adult education certificates and secondary school diplomas issued through the Tamaulipas Institute for Adult Education (ITEA). The program also addressed legal certainty by delivering deeds for three primary schools and several public plazas in Jiménez. Furthermore, families received construction materials and water tanks.
