Differently Beautiful Festival to be held at Banpo Hangang Park

The Differently Beautiful Festival is scheduled to take place on September 20 at the Ye-bit Island area of Banpo Hangang Park in Seoul. This second annual event, themed ‘Difference flows, Hangang connects,’ is a citizen-participation cultural arts festival supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

The festival aims to shift the role of marginalized groups—including the disabled, the elderly, career-interrupted women, and multicultural families—from being mere spectators to becoming the main performers on stage. The program includes line dance performances, various stage shows by selected teams, and a storytelling concert by singer Kang Won-rae.

In addition to musical performances, the event will feature interactive booths such as an AI photo booth, face painting, and mini archery to encourage community engagement.
