DIGESETT inaugurates new traffic security headquarters in Moca

The General Directorate of Transit and Land Transportation Security (DIGESETT) has inaugurated a new, modern facility in Moca, Espaillat province. The opening aims to strengthen institutional presence, modernize operations, and improve road safety and traffic organization services for the community.

The new headquarters, which was ceded by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, includes a reception area, an office for traffic accident procedures, a typing area, Human Resources, and a regional director's office. The facility also features a kitchen, dining area, rest area, and an air-conditioned pavilion to improve working conditions for agents.

The inauguration ceremony was led by DIGESETT Director General, General Pascual Cruz Méndez, alongside Espaillat Governor Patricia María Muñoz Salcedo, Moca Mayor Dr. Miguel Guarocuya Cabral, and Administrative Minister of the Presidency Andrés Bautista García. Authorities emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts between central and local governments to promote road education and accident prevention.
