Digger and The Social Reckoning films set for fall release

Two highly anticipated films arriving this fall, Alejandro González Iñárritu’s ‘Digger’ and Aaron Sorkin’s ‘The Social Reckoning’, explore urgent themes regarding the future and the consequences of past actions.

‘Digger’ stars Tom Cruise as Digger Rockwell, an aging oil baron whose mismanagement of a drill site in Antarctica triggers environmental cataclysms. The plot involves the American president and his Cabinet attempting to manipulate global opinion in response to the unfolding crisis.

‘The Social Reckoning’ serves as a sequel to ‘The Social Network’, set over a decade later. Directed by Sorkin, the film critiques Facebook as a global power and international threat, with Jeremy Strong taking over the role of Mark Zuckerberg.
