DIGI addresses TV service flaws and Lisbon Metro coverage

During its first-half 2026 results presentation, the telecommunications operator DIGI addressed recent service issues and infrastructure concerns. The company acknowledged technical flaws within its DIGI TV application, specifically regarding web browser access and persistent issues within the Apple ecosystem. Management has committed to releasing deep updates to resolve these channel viewing constraints.

Additionally, DIGI addressed concerns regarding its mobile network coverage within the Lisbon Metro stations and tunnels. The company stated that its signal quality is now comparable to its competitor, MEO, asserting, “we are present throughout the entire Lisbon Metro network, just like MEO, so there is no difference in coverage.”
