Digi Communications appoints Simona Stavrositu as non‑executive director, names Deloitte auditor

Romanian telecom group Digi Communications has called an extraordinary shareholders' meeting for 15 September in Amsterdam. The agenda includes the election of Simona Stavrositu, a senior finance executive at Michelin Group, as a non‑executive director, and the appointment of Deloitte as the company’s legal auditor for the 2026 financial year. Stavrositu does not own any shares in Digi.

Founder Zoltán Teszári, who controls Digi Communications through a chain of holding companies, has been recorded holding 82.424 % of the voting capital in Digi Spain Telecom following the subsidiary’s recent stock market debut. His stake, valued at roughly €1.35 billion, is held via RCS Management, which in turn controls the majority of voting rights in Digi Communications and its Romanian operations.
