Digi limits WiFi 7 router availability to new customers

Digi has clarified its policy regarding the distribution of WiFi 7 routers. While the operator's PRO-DIGi 10 Gbps fiber plan includes the advanced device, the company stated that the WiFi 7 router is primarily intended for new customers and is subject to stock availability.

In response to user inquiries on social media, Digi denied that customers switching existing plans would automatically receive the WiFi 7 router for free. The company explained that while stock exists for new sign-ups, customers changing their current tariffs will typically receive a WiFi 6 router, depending on available units and internal company criteria at the time of installation.
