DIGI Spain expands market share and workforce

The telecommunications operator has announced an ‘Open Day’ in Valencia on October 6 and 7, seeking to hire 25 professionals for sales and installation roles. The company is offering training for candidates without prior experience in fiber optic installation and providing permanent contracts.

In terms of market performance, analysts from Berenberg have identified DIGI Spain as a strong investment opportunity within the telecommunications sector. Despite being a low-cost provider, the company is noted for its ability to gain market share and attract subscribers from competitors. Analysts suggest that DIGI Spain has considerable room for growth, driven by increasing fixed-line penetration and potential network coverage expansion beyond its current 21 million homes.
