Digi Communications reports H1 2026 revenue growth amid regional variations

Digi Communications has reported its financial results for the first half of 2026, showing mixed performance across its European markets. The group achieved consolidated revenues of 1.2 billion euros, a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2025, with an adjusted EBITDA of 398 million euros.

In Spain, Digi Spain Telecom reported a net loss of 14.5 million euros for the first six months, a significant increase from the 1 million euro loss recorded in the previous year. This loss is largely attributed to heavy investments totaling 205 million euros aimed at expanding fiber optic and mobile networks. Despite the loss, the Spanish subsidiary saw revenues rise by 15.7% to 515 million euros, and its adjusted EBITDA grew by 44.9% to 119.8 million euros. Following its recent stock market debut, Digi Spain's share price has stabilized at 5.6 euros.

In Portugal, the company continues to expand, reaching approximately 960,000 active services, a 21.7% year-on-year increase. Revenue in the Portuguese market rose to 37.2 million euros for the first half of the year, while operational costs decreased by over 6 million euros compared to the previous year. The mobile segment remains a primary driver of growth in Portugal, accounting for 545,000 active services.
