Digi Spain Telecom appoints Deloitte as new auditor

The board of Digi Spain Telecom, the Spanish subsidiary of the Romanian group Digi Communications, has approved the appointment of Deloitte as the company’s new auditor. This decision follows the revocation of KPMG as the auditor for the 2026 and 2027 financial years.

During an extraordinary general meeting held via telematics, the company justified the replacement of KPMG citing the length of its mandate and the operational inefficiencies of maintaining different firms. The move aligns with the parent company’s decision to appoint Deloitte as its primary auditor for 2026. Deloitte is now designated to audit the entity and its consolidated group for the 2026 to 2028 fiscal years.

On the Madrid Stock Exchange, Digi shares closed at 6.27 euros on Monday, a decrease of 1.95%. Despite this daily drop, the company has seen an overall appreciation of 11.96% since its market debut on July 16.
