Digi telecom expands in Spain and Belgium with free internal calls and Bpost partnership

Romanian‑origin operator Digi has solidified its position in the Spanish market by offering fibre broadband at €10 per month with speeds of 500 Mbps and unlimited free calls between Digi customers on all tariffs, together with 1,000 free SMS messages. These low‑price bundles have helped the carrier become the fourth biggest mobile operator in Spain, attracting families and couples who can avoid minute charges while still receiving limited international minutes depending on the plan.

In Belgium, Digi has signed a five‑year strategic agreement with national postal service Bpost, allowing its mobile and internet subscriptions to be sold in all 655 Bpost offices across the country. The rollout began in the 83 largest offices and will continue through the summer, focusing first on mobile services while its fibre network expands mainly in Brussels. Digi already serves about 91,000 Belgian mobile customers and aims to increase its market share against incumbents Proximus, Orange Belgium and Telenet.
