Digidoo software expands use among 10,000 teachers to reduce paperwork

The Graz-based EdTech start-up Digidoo has reported significant growth in its digital documentation software, which is designed to alleviate the administrative burden on teachers. Currently, more than 10,000 educators in Austria and Germany are using the platform, documenting the competencies and progress of over 150,000 students.

CEO Moritz Hiebl noted that the demand for digital tools is increasing as teachers face shortages and seek ways to reclaim classroom time from paperwork. The software allows for the digital recording of learning progress and the derivation of transparent, legally compliant grade recommendations.

Digidoo is expanding its capabilities to focus more on individual student support. New updates will allow teachers to document specific measures taken to support individual children. The company has also begun its market entry in Switzerland, integrating the Lehrplan 21 curriculum.
