DigiKey opens new Global Capability Center in Bengaluru

DigiKey, a global distributor of electronic components and automation products, has opened a new office in Bengaluru, India. The facility, located at Sumadhura Capitol Towers in Whitefield, serves as the company’s Global Capability Center (GCC).

The new office is designed to support technology enablement, innovation, and business operations for DigiKey’s global teams. Shane Zutz, vice president of human resources for DigiKey, stated that the expansion strengthens the company’s long-term growth strategy by providing the capacity to attract top talent and foster collaboration among its global workforce.

Since establishing its India operations in 2022 with a five-person prototype team, DigiKey India has grown to nearly 300 employees. The company views India as a strategic hub for accessing highly skilled engineering talent and supporting its digital transformation initiatives.
