Digimon Up earns $7.9 million in first two weeks, led by Japan
Bandai Namco's mobile game Digimon Up launched worldwide on July 15, 2026. In its first two weeks the title generated $7.9 million in gross player spending, according to AppMagic data. Japan accounted for 44% of that revenue, the United States 20% and South Korea 12%, with the remaining share coming from other markets.
The game reached one million downloads in its first week and peaked at $1.1 million in player spending on July 16. Spending then fell steadily, dropping 83% to $187,000 by July 28. Digimon Up monetises through a mix of gacha summons, one‑time purchases, a subscription‑based DigiDiamond Pass, optional ad removal and incentivised ads that speed up idle battles.
A separate guide notes that players can claim promotional Digiemerald codes by linking a Bandai Namco account within the app, though the process is described as “byzantine.”
