Digital advertising platforms expand access for small advertisers

The French advertising landscape is undergoing a digital transformation as new self-service platforms make media buying more accessible to smaller advertisers and independent retailers.

Lagardère Publicité News has launched ‘Avec Ma Pub by LPN’, allowing small businesses to purchase radio, digital audio, and press campaigns directly online. The service offers predefined packages with transparent pricing, covering specific geographic zones and sponsorship opportunities on stations like Europe 2 or RFM.

Similarly, M6 Unlimited has introduced ‘M6 Ad Manager’, enabling advertisers to purchase video impressions within M6+ streams. This platform allows for targeting based on demographics, behavior, and context, with budgets starting at €1,000.

This shift aligns with broader trends in retail media, a sector that reached €1.46 billion in 2025. Historically dominated by large brands due to high entry costs, the market is increasingly opening to SMEs through self-service interfaces provided by major retailers and media groups, reducing the need for direct commercial negotiations.
