Digital Art Exhibitions Open Online in Bielefeld and Hannover
The Historisches Museum Bielefeld has launched an online exhibition titled “Bielefeld – Eine Stadt, leicht neben der Realität.” It presents digital collages that blend historic photographs, contemporary views and speculative futurist imagery to explore the city from three angles – remembered, felt and possible – inviting visitors to recognise altered urban scenes.
In Hannover, the editorial office for image and text has presented a purely digital photographic project, “PFEIL / RICHTUNG / ZUKUNFT,” curated by Frank‑Michael Preuss. The show features 16 images that use the arrow as a motif for direction, intention and visibility, and includes an interactive vote for viewers’ favourite image. The exhibition is accessible only via its website and involves no physical gallery space.
