Digital assistance services resume in Paradiso and Rimini

Municipalities in Switzerland and Italy are renewing or expanding digital facilitation services to assist citizens with technological transitions and online public administration services.

In Paradiso, Switzerland, the municipality has renewed its collaboration with the ‘Punto digitale inRete’ project. This free service, supported by the Lugano City Division of Sociality, the Luganese Regional Development Agency (ERSL), and the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), provides practical assistance to residents. USI Bachelor in Communication students offer support for tasks such as using smartphones, managing email, utilizing Office software, and navigating online payment methods. The service will operate from September 2, 2026, to June 16, 2027, at the Pregassona digital point.

In Rimini, Italy, the ‘Digitale Facile’ project is resuming its services following a summer break. Funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the initiative aims to prevent digital exclusion by helping citizens access services like SPID and electronic health records. Two service points are active: one at the Mercato Coperto on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and a second at the via Gambalunga territorial health node on Tuesday afternoons.
